Hello year 2008..

Bid farewell to 2007

Since i’ve got nothing to do tonight…I thought I’d try to capture the essence of the year gone by here.

If there was one year in my life that was the most hectic, I’d say 2007 was it. What a crazy, manic ride it’s been.

Career @ Barclays Capital
I started the year on a post-holiday high with a new job in an entirely different field to what I was doing previously. Whilst it hasn’t turned out to be quite what I expected the job to be, I cannot deny that I am learning by leaps and bounds and it is definitely a step closer to what I want to do eventually.

So hey, I’m going to take it all in good stride in the new year.

Studies
I also went back to school during that time and now..im in the mids of finishing the degree…

It was honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that I was juggling a day job, one in which I was still relatively new on the job and one I had better not screw up in because well, it is paying my bills!

Relationship

I’ve ended a relationship with the man whom i regarded as the crappiest.. cruel..inhumane. human being in this world..

Family
My dad suffered a heart attack mid this yr

Devastated i was

It took a bit of getting used to for both my sis & mum to accept the news.

my dad is alright now…i reckon discipline is the key to recovery..

No oily / unhealthy food from now..

Well, that’s my 2007 in a nutshell. On the scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a 6. Althrough it’s been a year of ups and downs..BUT…i’ve learn to appreciate the finer details and people surrounding me.. In addition i’ve also grown mature !!!

I’m grateful for the good relationship that i’ve got with Carmel.. U re an irreplaceable friend & boss ..

I’m grateful for the colleagues whom turned out to become good buddies whom i can confide with

will be flying to Taipei tomorr..and as usual..i’ve yet done with my packing…:P

seeing my parents & sis  feeling so glittery excited bout the trip; everything is worthwhile
